Happy 6th Birthday Annabelle!

Well my dear, you are now 6 years old!  Growing up so very fast right before our eyes.  Your dad and I are so proud of you!  At age 6, you are entirely sure about just who you are.  You don’t seem to take any smack from anyone.  You know what you like and you like to make sure we know it.  You refuse to do any sport or activity that you don’t like, which means that this year you’ve stopped taking ballet.  Instead you’re excited each week to go to your piano lessons.  You are composing in your free time and banging on our piano with your dad.  You’re a free spirit.  You do what you think is right.  You stand up for yourself and for other people.  You always try your best.  You tell us that no matter what you do when you grow up, you want to make sure you help other people.

Annabelle, I know you are heaven sent.  Your presence in our lives makes every day a little brighter.  You have the power to make people smile, be kinder, and be their best selves.  You are amazing my dear girl and just think, you’re 6!

On your sixth birthday, you asked for rollerskates and ice skates.  We gave you rollerskates and you said you were okay with that.  Here you are rocking it out on your new skates on your 6th birthday.  The bottom right photo is from your birthday party.  You designed your cake decorations yourself because we couldn’t find American Girl doll cake bling.  I love you Anna boo boo.
