This week’s photo challenge at I Should Be Folding Laundry is “Depth of Field.” I thought this series of photos of Annabelle might fit the ticket.
Late last week, I visited a local garden with Annabelle, Levi, my friend Rebecca and her son Ian. We spent much of our visit eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, stopping to use the potty, and separating Ian and Annabelle when the outside heat got to be too much for them . . . ah, the joys of raising a spirited 3 year old.
At one point during our visit, we came upon a children’s garden and a marshy pond. I wasn’t feeling the camera so much but happened to notice a patch of large puffy flowers that just begged to be photographed. I then begged Annabelle and Ian to come over to the flowers so that I might photograph them among the flowers. Every now and again, Annabelle cooperates with her mama, the photographer. Here she is:

Hmmm….children’s garden and marshy pond… I’m guessing a few locations, but can’t be sure. ; )

Jessica this a testament to your photography AND Annabelle’s beauty. These pictures are keepers to passed and enjoyed from one generation to the next. Those flowers complemented Annabelle perfectly.
