Shopping in My Attic

So it is official.  My bulging and blossoming belly has finally pushed me out of my pre-pregnancy pants.  Luckily, my hubby and I discovered my stash of maternity clothes in the attic this weekend.   After a good wash (they’d been stored in a box with Moth-Away), I hung them out to dry in our kitchen (on another aside, our townhouse association does not approve of line drying clothes).  Meanwhile, as I am taking more notice of light and color, I thought that together, my dresses and the light made for an appealing photograph.  Now, I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so that I can start wearing them!

In the meantime, I’ll be wearing a few maternity tops passed along to me from friends, as well as a few of my hubby’s button down tops.  Does anyone know of good on-line, second-hand maternity shops?

sunnymama, thanks! Are you into photography too? I am just loving it, =). Oh, and thank you for writing your blog. I’m really enjoying it.

CTJess, hello there! Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll have to check it out. Today I went into a children’s consignment shop that carries maternity wear and the prices shocked me. Some of the shirts were selling for what new shirts (by the same brand) would retail for. I am definitely going to keep looking.

Check out http://www.cravingstyle.com. They have one flat rate shipping price of $4.99 and a pretty decent selection.
Enjoy!!
