Happy Valentines’ Day everyone! May your day be full of hugs, smooching, and lots and lots of love. I know I am looking forward to kissing my two Valentines this year and eating a few chocolates too.
Oh yes, and about that “from my kitchen” promise? Yes, my Valentine’s Day wishes are written on a wall in my kitchen that we have turned into a chalkboard. Using a bit of chalkboard paint from the hardware store, my hubby framed out and painted the wall between our foyer and kitchen so that we can leave messages for each other, and so that we can spend time doodling too. We are debating painting the entire wall so that when visitors come by, they may draw too, but we’ll see . . . since it is our entryway wall, we don’t want to greet our guests with a large black wall. =)
Anyhoo, I hope you and yours have a deliciously sweet and lovable day together.
Hugs,
Jessica

It’s a lot of fun. On Thursday, I changed our greeting to Happy Anniversary. Also, when we went out of town for a few days, I considered leaving our note for our pet sitter there as well. A whole chalkboard wall would be so much fun. I am seriously considering taking the plunge. We’ll see . . .
What a neat project. When we get our mudroom finished (or started for that matter…) I’d like to have a chalkboard like this one.
