On My Wedding Day

in Gratitude Thoughts

Today happens to be my 4th wedding anniversary.  Not only do I feel like I am lucky to be married to a handsome, smart, compassionate, and loving human being, but I feel lucky to be married to a guy who has great legs and can solve a rubix cube in about 10 seconds flat.  Seriously, he is my best friend in the whole world and I just love him (gush, gush).  Now that’s all I will say about that since any further comments may completely embarrass my hubby.

Above is a photo of us taking our vows on our wedding day.   I remember feeling so relieved to get to take a break from standing in my heels (I never wear heels) at this part in the ceremony.  Anyhoo, I just thought I’d share.  It’s a happy day for us, as Annabelle would say.

I like that idea. Perhaps we will reserve the rest of February as “our month.” I should tell my husband this; then we can make all of the days of the month extra special and take more care of each other (though ideally, wouldn’t it be great if we doted on each other like this all year long?)

Happy Anniversary (late, but still the whole month should be yours).

Happy, Happy Anniversary to you both—or should I say to your entire, growing family!!!
